Biophoton Therapy

Bio Photon Therapy is relatively new to the Lyme Community.  This treatment has been getting much attention since some daring people have traveled to Germany for treatment with a device known as the Bionic 880.  Some of these people claim to be cured of their Lyme due to this treatment, others have experienced a remission in symptoms, and others are still ill even after treatment.  Since we are all aware that what works for one of us is not what works for all of us, we must determine what is the most effective way to approach our individual treatment.

The information provided here is simply to help in gaining knowledge about this promising treatment and to introduce a Bio Photon device that is available here in the United States.  This device is the PE-1.  I have received treatment with both the Bionic 880 and I am currently using the PE-1 to continue my therapy.   If you decide to use either device, I would like to make note that neither device should be used without a solid educational background and without the guidance of a licensed practitioner.  Treatment must be individualized and I personally would recommend reviewing the steps Dr. Klinghardt recommends in treating prior to use.

Light is measured in nanometers or nm.  The Bio photon devises emit a range of red and  infrared light waves.  The 880 in the Bionic 880 stands for 880 nanometer range of infrared light.  The PE-1 one emits light in the ranges that follow:  It holds 140 LED -light emitting diodes.   112 near infrared   * 56 are the 940nm, 36 are 880nm and 20 are in 875 nm range.  It contains 28 red/far red LEDs.  20 are 655 nm and 8 are 680nm.

There is such a prolific amount of research on the biological effects of light that it would take volumes to cover it.  What follows is primarily based on this statement by Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp and how it relates to treatment of Lyme Disease and associated disorders.     "We now know, today, that man is essentially a being of light."

There is a fascinating history of Bio photons located at  http://www.lifescientists.de/history.htm

Current work being done today on Biophotons may be located at  http://www.lifescientists.de/ib0200e_.htm.  There is some wonderful information located on these pages.

Dr. Woitzel, the German physician currently treating Lyme Disease with the Bionic 880, has this posted on his website regarding his experience treating Lyme patients.

"The treatment of Lyme disease with photons, avoiding antibiotics at the same time, is a standard therapy in many practices today. During a period of three years, 108 persons were treated under control in an observational study. The relapse rate amounts less than 5%, not excluding cases of reinfection. We have successfully treated far over 1000 patients within nine years. This means, the patients are free from complaints/symptoms, which are caused by Lyme disease."

What are possible medical indications for the use of the Bionic 880?  This is taken from the Bionic 880 website.  More information is available at that site http://www.biophoton.de/english.html  The Bionic 880 is not available for sale in the United States as per the date of this posting.

The Bionic 880 with its cell stimulating and hormone-adjusting effect is useful for the following purposes, among others:

  • psychosomatic illnesses
  • somatic disorders
  • long term illnesses
  • dysfunctions of the vegetative nervous system
  • wound healing
  • depressions
  • burn out syndromes
  • weight regularization
  • hyperactivity
  • de-addiction & smoker curing
  • bacterial infects
  • cancer aftercare
  • Lyme disease (borreliosis)
